1. Introduction

   1. ​Maverick ("the Application") is a platform, operated by BZ Owl Ltd. (the “Operator”), which includes an application and a plug-in for editing software, which assists videographers, producers, video editors and directors in the production process.

   2. This Privacy Policy will apply to your use of (a) the Application and (b) files generated in the process of use of the Application (“Maverick Files”).

   3. We respect the privacy of users and recommend that you carefully read this Privacy Policy regarding the privacy of users and of third parties, and the use of information about them. If there are additional questions regarding the matter, as well as requests for examination or complaints, we will honor a response to any inquiry, which will be delivered in an orderly manner to info@bz-owl.com

2. The purpose of gathering information
   The purpose of the collection of information by the Operator is to allow you to obtain access to the services of the Application, to improve the user experience and functionality of the Application and to serve some business purposes of the Operator, as described herein.

3. What information do we collect?

   1. The information collected by the Operator (hereinafter: the "Information") is information provided at the initiative of the users, as part of the use of the Application and contains:
      The user ID and password.
      E-mail address.
      Phone number

   2. In addition, the Operator may collect statistical information about the Application's users and how they use the Application, provided that such Information does not identify the user's personal detail.

   3. Optional collection: we may collect, at the user’s optional consent, additional information which helps us better understand the usability of the Application and improve our services.

   4. Any personal information of third parties, collected by the users in the process of recording audio and marking important moments on the Maverick Files, shall be in the Application user’s own responsibility, and the user undertakes to receive any consent required by law for the use of such information. It is hereby clarified that the Operator does not have access to the Maverick Files and does not assume any responsibility in connection with the Application users’ use of such information.

4. What are our uses of the information?

   1. We will use the information to operate the Application and the services provided through it, including contacting the user, in order to improve the services and provide them in a way that best suits the user.

   2. We reserve the right to collect statistical information about the Application's users, such as the user's location, number of entrances to the Application, etc. provided that it is not the information that personally identifies the user publicly.

   3. Other users will not be able to view the information provided by the user and it will only be forwarded to the Operator.

   4. The Operator will be entitled to make use of the e-mail address and/or phone number that the user will provide in connection with the purpose for which such details were provided.

   5. The Operator will be entitled to make use of the Information in order to send updates and marketing information, subject to the user's prior consent.

5. What information do we share with third parties?

   1. In providing the information or using the Application, the user declares that he grants the Operator permission to disclose to third parties the user's information in the cases listed below:
      a. Disclosure that the Operator believes, in good faith, that it is required by law, including government orders, court orders or any other judicial authority, anywhere/region/jurisdiction that the Operator believes its authority applies to the Application and/or to its users.
      b. Disclosure that the Operator believes, in good faith, that it is required in order to prevent any kind of illegal activity, fraud or civil wrongdoing.
      c. Producing statistical reports containing information, which will be transferred to third parties in order to promote the Application and its services. However, we will not share with those third parties any information of specific users of the Application or any other information that may personally identify a user.
      d. In the event of a merger and/or acquisition of the Operator or in the event of a sale of the Operator's activities or transfer to another company, the information will be transferred to the new Application’s operators, and the privacy policy conditions set forth in this document will continue to apply.

6. How can the user see, change, or remove the information?

   1. A user who wants to know what information is in the hands of the Operator, or to demand that updates and marketing information be stopped or removed from the information framework available to the Operator, is entitled to contact the Operator by e-mail to info@bz-owl.com and the Operator will respond in an orderly manner to his request, within 7 working days. However, it should be noted that in the event that a user chooses to request the removal of his details from the information available to the Operator, this may impair the experience of using the Application and/or the service provided to him, and the user waives any claim on the subject.

   2. The Operator may, at its discretion, remove from its records any user information, and prevent users from using the services provided on the Application, in the event that it believes in good faith that a user has made use of the Application in a way that violates the privacy of any other person.

7. ​Links to third-party sites
   Some of the Application's content and services provided through it, rely on other websites via links, and some features may allow file sharing and other services which rely on existing features of the users’ device’s operating system. The Operator is not responsible for the privacy policies of any such third party services used in the process and/or the law applicable to the content appearing therein, and it is recommended to examine the privacy policies of these third party services prior to using them.
